CROW’S FEET & EYE WRINKLES
Why do we get crow’s feet?
Since the skin around our eyes is 40 % thinner than in the rest of our face, this area is one of the first to exhibit signs of ageing in the form of fine wrinkles. While being a normal phenomenon of ageing patients often voice understandable esthetic concerns.
How to get rid of crow’s feet ?
To address those concerns Botox, Laser tightening and chemical peelings are widely considered effective treatment options. Recently Plasma Skin Tightening (e.g. Plasma Pen) has been introduced and created a lot of attention.
The GDDC also recommends our patients to consider certain eye-specific skincare products which are generally formulated to be thinner textured and with lower concentration of active ingredients to reduce the chance of irritation this delicate area.
