A very common inconvenience are the vertical lines that develop between the eyebrows as a result of chronic muscle contractions when performing natural facial expressions.

Treatments

Like for other lines and wrinkles, Botox injections are the most established treatment protocol and don’t require any downtime. For glabellar lines just a small amount of Botox will be applied into the muscle between the eyebrows and the contraction of the muscle will gradually subside, hence the lines will smoothen out (for some cases in conjunction with Facial Fillers).

While not permanent, the result will still last for four to six months after which touch-ups will help to maintain the smoothness of the treated area. We at the GDDC believe in the importance of a qualified examination by a specialized dermatologist to determine the best treatment protocol for your specific case.
