Venous Lakes

What are venous lakes?

Venous Lakes (“Phlebectasis”) are benign vascular lesions that resemble blood blisters and appear on the sun-exposed surfaces of the lips, face, and ears.

How do you fix venous lakes?

They can be effectively treated with advanced laser therapy. In principle, light is absorbed by the blood vessels causing them to coagulate and reabsorb themselves into the body.

A consultation with our German board-certified dermatologist will lead to a personalized, comprehensive, and result-oriented treatment plan.
